Tried It Tuesday Is BACK!!

YAY for Tried It Tuesday!!
Back in June I was starting to get overwhelmed keeping up with this weekly linky and just had one weekly link up for July.  While it was nice to have a little break, I really started to miss Tried It Tuesday the past couple weeks!  Tuesdays just weren't the same.  :)
If you are new to Tried It Tuesday, read more about it here.  These are the basics:

1.  Write a post about any"thing" you have...TRIED (new or old)!
2.  Describe what worked and maybe what didn't work.
3.  Keep it simple and focus on one general topic.
You can link another idea next week:)
4.  Link your post back to this post.

Before I get to this week's Tried It, I have to share with you that my BBB, Jivey, is having a giveaway on her Facebook page.  Today is Day 7 and I am the featured blogger!
Head over to Ideas by Jivey FB page for a chance to win any of my book bin labels:
Owls
Superhero
Bright Chevron
Bright Polka Dots
OR choose a custom design!
Two winners will be chosen!!

My Tried It:
Organizing Pages in Blogger
Since Tried It Tuesday began last spring, I have been blown away by all the amazing ideas that have been linked up!  I use Pinterest like crazy to keep track of all the tips I want to refer back to.  However, I wanted a way for readers who do not stay caught up with Tried It Tuesday each week to be able to revisit the topics by theme at a glance.
So, I created a page on my blog titled, "Tried It Tuesday".
I found "pages" in Blogger to be tricky and it took a little playing around until I figured it out.
If anyone else hasn't mastered this feature, I hope this tutorial will help you!

So, now you might be wondering how I linked all the thumbnails under each page from previous Tried It Tuesdays!  Since this post is long enough already, I will save that for next week's Tried It Tuesday!  If you can't wait, head on over to Inlinkz and check it out.  That is the tool I used. :)
My goal for next week is to get ALL the past Tried It Tuesdays catalogued on the appropriate pages.  Wish me luck!  I think I can, I think I can...

I have a couple winners to announce from my Pin It to Win It book bin labels in yesterday's
Monday Made It post!
Check your inboxes Heather and Natalie!  I noticed that Natalie just started a super cute 4th grade blog, Teaching 4th With Mrs. Bro.  Stop by and give her some love if you get a chance!

Now it's your turn to link up for Tried It Tuesday!!  I can't wait to see what you have been up to!

  4. I wad wondering how to do this! I had clicked a few times on the "page" link on my dashboard, but just left the section once I started reading. After reading your tutorial, it's not as difficult as I thought. Thanks for sharing!

  6. Bless your heart for this great tutorial about adding pages. Any "techy" advice or help is always welcome here. I feel like I'm always saying, "How in the world did they do that?" to myself. I'm gonna try and think of something I 'tried' and link up. My brain is still in summer mode, so I'm not sure I can think of anything but sitting by the pool right now. ; )

  8. Holly, I just had to delete my above comment because I was logged in under my friend. I'm sorry. I love that you shared step by step how to make pages. You are always so good about explaining everything and making it look easy!
